This project started in Spring 2010. I initially wanted to explore and become familiar with how RW works, this project continued and developed into what it is today: A fantasy route situated in the Italian-French alps...

 

NEWS:


9.5.2013: I am working currently on scenarios 18,19,20 and 21. Dispatcher problems and the nice spring weather are delaying the release. Neverthless, I hope to release (18 JC) in the next few days...


19.4.2013: A new scenario is online. It's a RegionaleVeloce (fast stopping service) which you drive to Intragna. Check it out in the Download Scenarios section.


7.4.2013: After some problems with my FTP Server, here we are again. Two new scenarios are online now: (15JC) - Picasso, which was released already on uktrainsim.com and rail-sim.de and the brandnew (16JC) Manovre RSC-Squinzano. You find the scenarios in the Download Scenarios section. I updated also the BASIC ROLLING STOCK list, please check it out.

 

26.3.2013: Yet another scenario online: (14 JC) - Merci Intragna-Civitella Barrea. It's a very short, but very nice little scenario. Check it out: Download Scenarios

 

25.3.2013: Next scenario is up. It's a freight train scenario. You drive the FS E633 in a lovely winternight from Ovarese to Intragna. You find the scenario in the Download Scenarios section.

 

23.3.2013: Scenario (12 JC) is online. You drive in the middle of the night on a V220 diesel engine some IGA cars from Ovarese to S.M. di Berna and back. There's a payware and a freeware version available (both in the same .rar file). Enjoy it. You find the brandnew scenario in the Download Scenarios section.

 

21.3.2013: Working at the moment on scenarios (12JC), (13JC), (14JC) and (15JC). Scenario (12JC) should be ready in no time. Also, there is a second scenario pack in the making (SP2 - Railtour Italia). Check out soon for more informations...

 

13.3.2013: A nice little scenario released: R Bienna-Ovarese. You drive the last stopping service from Bienna down to Ovarese. You find this new scenario in the Download Scenarios section.

 

8.3.2013: Scenario 10 is online. A short scenario in the valley of Bienna. You have to collect some freight cars and bring them to Bienna. Downloadable in the Download Scenarios section.

28.2.2013: A new scenario is online: RoLa Squinzano-Bienna. You have to bring the RoLa (Rollende Landstrasse) up to Bienna. Downloadable in the Download Scenarios section.

 

14.2.2013: The scenario pack 1 (Servizio sulla D445) has been updated. I added the E656 engine and the SNCF cereal transport cars. Downloadable in the Download Scenarios section.

 

12.2.2013: That's quick: Scenario 8 is online too. Drive a E656 with its IC train from Intragna to Como. Check out the Download Scenarios section.

 

11.2.2013: Scenario 7 (7 JC) is online. It's another freight service scenario. You'll drive a freight train from P.V. to Civitella Barrea. There's a lot of payware included, but I will upload sometimes later a freeware version of this scenario. Check out the Download Scenarios section.

 

5.2.2013: Another scenario is online. It's a version 2.0 of the scenario "Merci Bienna-Porto Venerina" which I already released for a older version of this route. However, this time I included some more AI traffic and of course the E656 and E444. Check out the Download Scenarios section.

 

3.2.2013: Yet another version of the fifth scenario (5 JC). This time the BB1700 and the ÖBB Tadgs cars should be in the right folder.

3.2.2013: Scenarios (1 JC) - (4 JC) are online again. I just swapt some rolling stock, included the E656 and E444 to give the scenarios more variety. Check out the Download Scenarios section...

The RollingStockList has been updated. Please check it out...

 

2.2.2013: Some users have problems with scenario (5JC). There's a new version online of this scenario. Please delete the original version and install version 1.1

The other scenarios will be online by sunday, 3.2.2013

 

31.1.2013: Finally!!! Amicitreni.net has released the much awaited FS E656 engine, called Caimano. And on top of that, Tiziano Baldi released another star: the FS E444 Tartaruga. To celebrate this, there's a new scenario online where you drive a E656 from Como to Bienna. By tomorrow I will have updated the already released scenarios with the new rolling stock. That's for they will be offline, but they will be online again in no time. To download the fifth scenario, please check out the Download Scenarios section.

 

26.1.2013: Next scenario is online: R (Lecco-) Riva San Ceresio-Como. It's a very short, but beautiful scenario. Very easy and laid back... You find it in the Download Scenarios section.

 

20.1.2013: BeLuxTrains has pubblished a scenario pack for the route. This scenario pack was already released for version 2. He updated it, there are now 5 scenarios included. You can download it in the Download Scenarios section... Thank you Christophe (BeLuxTrains).

 

19.1.2013: The third scenario is online. It's a special service provided by LeNord/Nordcargo. You drive a train to a special event in Riva San Ceresio. As always, the scenario is downloadable in the Download Scenarios section...

 

18.1.2013: Several scenarios in phase of testing. Some will be uploaded soon. A new video and link added in the Videos respective Links section...

 

9.1.2013: Scenario Pack is online. We've created a nice scenario pack of six scenarios. Your engine to drive is a D445. Have fun and check out the Download Scenarios section...

 

5.1.2013: I have put some .pdf files online. One is the Route README file, and the other one is the Basic Rolling Stock file, which indicates you all the rolling stock you need for future scenarios. Check out the  Download Route and the Download Scenarios section...

 

2.1.2013: Second scenario is online! Have fun...

2.1.2013: Testing finished, the route is online. There's also the first scenario online (1 JC) which I updated now. So you can play the first scenario already. Check out the Download Route and the Download Scenarios section...

2.1.2013: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!!

The new version 3.1 is ready. We're testing the route and in a couple of days it should be online. Also, there will be a surprise scenario pack (perhaps it will go online some days after the route is released).

 

14.10.2012: Release of Version 3.1. Fixed some bugs. Hope that helps some users to run the route correctly. Check out the Download Route page...

25.9.2012: News after more than three month of silence. The launch of Trainsimulator 2013 forced me to stopp working on the route and especially on scenarios. The route (Version 3.0) is almost finished for the release. We are testing it and will put it online as soon as possible. NOTE: None of my previous released scenarios (JC) will work with version 3.0. I am currently working on new scenarios who will be released soon...

There are new pics in the SCREENSHOT area. I also divided the download section into two: DOWNLOAD ROUTE and DOWNLOAD SCENARIOS.

 

28.6.2012: For the just recently uploaded shunter scenario (Manovre a Bienna by Claudio Mussa) I included a new .pdf file with the necessary rolling stock for this scenario. The .pdf file is provided by the author of the scenario.

 

25.6.2012: There is a new scenario online. It's a shunter scenario (Bienna) created by Claudio Mussa (autor of the fantastic Torino-Genova route). You can download this scenario in the download section. Grazie mille Claudio.

 

11.6.2012: Forum is closed due to infringement. Currently working on the route: signalling, speed limits and markers are all set, scenery finished at about 75%. The version which will be released will be 3.0 instead of 2.2. Reason is simple: I added two new branches to the route and with all the signalling work it will be a full update. The route is in testing phase, so check it out for the release date...

30.5.2012: Another scenario is online. It's a shunter scenario which takes place in Como SG. This will be probably the last scenario before upgrading the route to version 2.2 You can find the scenario in the download section.

 

19.5.2012: The work on the Como-Squinzano-Riva San Ceresio Branch is quite finished (ca.95%). Now I am awaiting the release of some new italian rolling stock (amicitreni.net, probably in june), then version 2.2 will be released (also ALL scenarios released until today will be updated too). In the meantime, some more signalling adjustment will be done.

 

1.5.2012: New pictures in the Work in progress section of Squinzano.

 

29.4.2012: A new scenario is online. Drive a freight train with the newly released D343 (thanx ALn668 GTT) from Bienna down to Porto Venerina. Due to changes on differents sites dedicated to Railworks, I had to update the pdf.File "BasicRollingStock". Now the links should be fine again and work. Last but not least, I added a new link for BeLuxTrains new scenario pack which was released mids of march.

29.4.2012: New pictures in the Work in progress section. I'll building a ROLA Terminal at Squinzano, which is next to Como S.G. I have changed also a part of Breganzona C.le. Now it's possible to reach the yards from the unelectrified line. A new scenario is in the testing phase: A Merci Train, hauled by two D343, from Bienna to Porto Venerina.

 

5.3.2012: Yet another scenario online. This time you're the driver of a D145 in the beautiful Bienna valley. You have to gather some cars and bring them back up to Bienna.

Thanx to the availability of my tester it's possible to upload some more scenarios in the future. Thank you C.G. Like always, you find the scenarios in the Download section.

 

3.3.2012: Another scenario is online. It's a clone of the second scenario. But this time you ride a ALn663 DMU from Ovarese to Breganzona. Download it from the Download section.

 

29.2.2012: A brand new scenario is online. Drive a stopping service from Breganzona up to the italian-french border town of Bienna/Bienna. Download it from the Download section.

 

26.2.2012: RAILTOUR ITALIA, Part 1 and 2: A new scenario-pack is online (only FreeWare needed). You drive the beautiful, historic FS E626. Download it from the Download section.

 

23.2.2012: A new scenario is online. You drive a Minuetto from Breganzona to Como... But you have to know how to handle the Minuetto, as it is not easy to arrive at time in Como. Check out the Download section.

 

4.2.2012: The second scenario is online. It's a stopping service from Ovarese to Breganzona and needs payware addons from Anemonelab. There's also a new video online. Check out here: Video section and Download section.

25.1.2012: Version 2.1 is finally released. Check out the Download Section for further informations.

 

8.1.2012: The launch of the "Ferrovia sul confine Italia-Francia V2.0" was successful. Now I am working (with the help of To-Ge Mastermind C.Mussa) on some shunter signalproblems. Furthermore I have replaced some objects with incomplete textures and done some more signalling work. That means I'll release another version (2.1) soon.

Ch.Durvaux from BeLuxTrains released a scenario pack for the new Version 2.0. Check it out in the Downlaod Section. Thank you Monsieur Durvaux.

 

2.1.2012: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!

A new year, a new version of the route. Version 2.0 is finally released. There are some FreeRoam Scenarios included to explore the route. Timetabled scenarios will be available on this page in no time. You can find the downloads in the Downloads Section. Enjoy...

 

3.12.2011: I've decided to give the route a fancy look with the new lightning Railworks has provided since the update. Means that version 2.0 will NOT be finished at least until X-mas... Check out some new pics at the "Lungolago" , "Ovarese"  and "Miralago" - Gallery in the Screenshot section.

Also, a new link was added. The friends from "Rotabili italiani" doing a great work... Check it out.

 

21.11.2011: The Como area is finished. Now just the signalling has to work fine and then the version 2.0 is done. Some more pics on the Work in progress section... Also some new pics in the Screenshot section...Check it out.

 

8.11.2011: Still working on the project. There has been some problems after installing the new tracks (Binari italiani V4.1),this  has to be resolved. The new Altenburg-Wildau route has to be installed to see if there are any changes ( on several objects from the author: SAD).
 

25.10.2011: The Forum is online. You can post in english, german or italian.

 

20.10.2011: The Ovarese-Manduria/Como Branch is almost finished. Just the area around Como needs to be worked on and some signal testing needs to be done. There are new pics from the branch on the Work in progress section.

 

3.10.2011: The second part of the cab ride Como S.G.-Ovarese is online now. You'll find it under the Video section.

24.9.2011: The "Ferrovia sul confine Italia-Francia" is still running after the release of RW3 alias Train Simulator 2012. The biggest news is that the Ovarese-Manduria/Como S.G. branch is on the way to being completed.  The cities of Manduria and Como S.G. have yet to be built, the signals need some adjustments and electrification of the branch has to be finished. Version 2.0 will include a re-release of all scenarios (including new rolling stock) and, of course, some new scenarios. A video with the progression of the branch will be released soon...

 

5.9.2011: Short new video is online. Check out the Video section...

 

2.9.2011: New scenarioshave been added in the Download section. The work on the Ovarese-Manduria/Como S.G. Branch is on track. Check out the "Work in progress" section...

 

20.8.2011: The scenarios are finally added on the Download section. The scenarios support English, German and Italian.

 

10.8.2011: The announcement of the Railworks2012 forced me to hold on with the release of Version 1.1. The new release date will be sometime in late September or October. By then, perhaps, I'll have uploaded Version 2.0 which will include the branch Ovarese-Manduria/Como S.G.

 

17.7.2011: Version 1.1 will be released soon. There will be some changes like new Portals, new Markers, all platforms will be working. Plus, all three scenarios will be updated to Version 1.1 and be re-released.

 

11.7.2011: Scenario 3 is released! The scenario "R14220 Ovarese-Breganzona" lasts about 40min. Easy trip for the Aln663 diesel unit.

 

10.6.2011: Version 1.0 is released. There are 2 scenarios included in the route. You can find it under Downloads or Rail-sim.de, mcs.it and treinpunt.nl
